Description

 
These are un-withdrawable savings whereby every member ought to purchase a minimum of 250 society shares at the value of Ksh. 20 each. Upon cessation of membership, a member may willingly transfer their shares to another member of the Society through a written notice to the office. Share capital provides a strong capital base for the Society.

 

Features

 
  • Earns an interest which is 2% over and above the declared annual dividend rate on member deposits.
  • The minimum a member can hold is Kshs 5,000 payable on twenty-five-monthly installments of Kshs 200/-.
  • Members are not allowed to hold more than 20% of the total fully paid up share capital of the Sacco.
